Announcing NurseryPeople.

A place where nursery people- landscapers, retailers, and people who just love plants- can come together to find the wholesale nurseries and the plants that they grow. 

Over the past 6 months, we have been working hard to develop the first version of the NurseryPeople website. It has a lot of work yet, but we are happy with the results so far. 

This website has over 32,000 plant species and over 350,000 records showing which nurseries grow each of these species. 

The data is messy. We started with an old database and have a lot of editing to do, but we are releasing this to help guys that are looking for specific plants find what they are looking for easier.

We have also added the ability to leave and read reviews on plants and nurseries. You can share reviews of the nurseries you have worked with, and the plants you enjoy planting in your landscapes. 

There is also the ability to favorite plants and nurseries. Find a plant or company that you like? Favorite them to find them later on your profile.

Coming soon:

We are hoping to soon release filtering for plants and nurseries. If there are ways that you would like to filter plants or nurseries, send us an email through the contact form on the website. We will most definitely take your input to mind as we continue development on the site.

Another feature we are hoping to add soon is posting. Have a plant that did poorly in a certain area? Share a photo and ask why. People in the community will be able to respond and give you advice, and you can select the best answer.

Advertising. Soon, companies will be able to advertise to a highly targeted audience on the site.  Let us know if you are interested by sending an email.

Featured Nurseries. Soon, nurseries that want to become featured will be able to pay for their spot online, if they are accepted into the program.
